From Dublin International Airport (DUB): Distance to The Tallaght Cross Hotel is 12 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Number 747 and 748 Airlink buses connect the airport to Dublin city centre, and depart every 15 minutes. Tickets can be bought from the driver and the single fare is around 5 EUR. A 24 hour service to central Dublin and Dublin South is offered by Aircoach. From Connolly and Heuston in Dublin Centre, trains are available to Tallaght. Taxis cost around 35 EUR to the hotel. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. For drivers, Tallaght is near Newlands Cross junction with access to Limerick, Cork and Waterford. Dublin is accessible by the LUAS red line, which stops adjacent to the hotel. Dublin city centre and Temple Bar's cobbled streets can easily be explored on foot. Dublin's extensive double decker bus system and tram network operate throughout the city and the suburbs. Taxis are available at ranks, and can also be hailed on the street. Parking in the city centre is limited and expensive, but a car is recommended for exploring further afield.
Driving directions. From Dublin airport, leave the roundabout by the exit signed 'Way Out'.
Turn right onto the Swords Road R132 (signposted Santry) then turn Right again.
Bear Left onto the R108 and at roundabout take the third exit, then join the M50 motorway (signposted Southbound), entering Dublin.
Go Through West Link Toll Bridge and leave the M50 at Junction 11 (signpost Tallaght, Blessington N81)
Stay in right hand lane and take the third exit at the roundabout.
Continue on the dual carriage way through the small roundabout and pass Tallaght Village (on the right hand side).
Continue on until the Square Shopping Centre is on the right hand side.
At these lights take a right (signpost Hospital).
