A glass cellar holds 1,400 bottles of fine wines. Huang Ting displays 200 year old stone posts recovered from a former Suzhou nobleman's courtyard. In 2006 Beijing's Second Ring Road (a major perimeter highway, such as the Beltway in Washington D.C.) will open direct access to the Peninsula Palace. This will allow shorter transit times to many business and tourist destinations throughout the greater Beijing metropolitan area.
Renovation Notice:
The hotel pool has been closed for renovation. The hotel has arranged for guest to have access to the pool at the adjacent Lee Gardens apartment. The gymnasium and massage facilities will continue to be available at the hotel. There is no estimated completion date available.

Getting there. Hotel limousine services are available with a choice of Rolls Royce, Mercedes Benz, or Dodge Ram. Otherwise, taxis are available at the airport and will take guests directly to the hotel.



Getting around. Taxis are often the best way to get around and can be hailed from the street. Travelers are advised to take metered taxis so that the fare can be determined by the distance traveled. Taxis charging an upfront fee will be more expensive than metered taxis.
