Getting there. A shuttle bus runs from the airport to the centre of Kiev. Taxi desks are located to the left of the main entrance of B terminal and cost approximately 300 UAH to the hotel. Ask the taxi driver for the city centre, next to Saint Sophia cathedral. Prices are subject to change.
Getting around. Kiev is a big city with good public transport, including a metro system. Buses, trolleybuses and trams are popular and cheap ways to get around. Taxis can be ordered by phone or on the street. The official rate is about 1 UAH per kilometre. A good alternative to a taxi can be a private, non metered car hailed in the street.
